Opportunities for Volunteering
We are currently seeking people to fill the following District roles:
A District Ecumenical Officer to act as the main link, along with the Chair of District, between the District (and the circuits) and the West Yorkshire Ecumenical Council (WYEC). S/he would also be the main link, in ecumenical matters, between the Connexion and the District. A role description is available from the District Office if you think you might be interested in filling this post.
A District Learning & Development Team Convenor. The team of nine people meets three or four times per year. There are two sub groups, CDiM (Continuing Development in Ministry) and EDEV (Extending Discipleship, Exploring Vocation) and these meet twice a year. The average weekly time commitment for this role is 8 - 10 hours. A role description is available from the District Office if you think you might be interested in filling this post.

Holmfirth Circuit Administrator

The Blenheim Project: Trustees
The Blenheim Project offers quality service provision for homeless women and children, including temporary accommodation, childcare service, resettlement and community based support. They are looking for people with management, financial, legal and housing skills who have time and enthusiasm for the project, to join their Board of Trustees. Abigail Housing is a West Yorkshire-based charitable company dedicated to providing housing to people made homeless at the end of the asylum process. They are currently looking for people to join and strengthen the Board of Trustees.
