An active prayer life should be part of the discipleship of every Christian. It is our hope that this handbook can help us all in this aspect of being a follower of Jesus in contemporary society - that
it will be a useful addition to our spiritual tool box.

There are prayers for each day of the month, themed around aspects of life in our District. So take a stroll down this imaginary High Street somewhere in West Yorkshire. Visit the shops and outlets on the High Street. Stop a while in each place and buy what you need to sustain your Christian journey.
